Bring It On was an annual exhibition and celebration of engineering in the North East of England which was designed to educate young people in the region about engineering around them, inspire them to want to be part of it and inform them about how to become so.
Bring It On ran from 2017 with four live exhibitions and two virtual offerings during the Covid crisis. The Cleveland Scientific Institution was been a Headline Supporter during the whole of that time.
10,000+ pupils aged 10-14 and many hundred teachers have experienced Bring It On and more than100 local engineering companies, from all the major engineering sectors in the region, have exhibited. A unique feature of Bring It On has always been that only engineering companies based in the North East and the Tees Valley were permitted to take part in the exhibition, which has always been free to both companies and schools.
Unfortunately Bring It On had to close down in 2023 but The Cleveland Scientific Institution is proud to have been a significant partner in what has been achieved.
